How do I start a round?
From the home screen, tap "Start New Round". Select a course, choose your tees, set your scoring format, and you're off.
Does the app work without an internet connection?
Yes. On The Green is offline-first — you can score an entire round without signal. Your data syncs automatically when you reconnect.
How is my handicap calculated?
We use the full World Handicap System (WHS 2024). Your Handicap Index is based on the best 8 of your last 20 score differentials, with soft and hard cap adjustments applied automatically.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Start a round and share your Round ID with up to 3 others. They can join using that ID from the "Join Round" option on their app.
What scoring formats are supported?
Stableford, Stroke Play, Match Play, and Skins — all with full handicap adjustment support.
I have a beta access code — where do I enter it?
Visit the sign-up page and you'll be prompted to enter your early access code before creating an account.
